Jessica Paré wore this dress to attend the People/Time Party on the eve of the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington, DC in April 2013.
Scott liked to play with vintage elements when designing her main collections. She particularly loved the flattering feminine shapes of the 1930s. In this and the following lot she took inspiration for the unusual leather lattice banding from a Catherine Parel couture evening gown of the late 1930s.
