Lot Essay

Ms Scott wore this gown to attend the wedding anniversary party of François-Henri Pinault and Salma Hayek in Venice on 25 April 2009. This dress is an un-adorned version of Look 26 in the main collection. (See the previous lot for the adorned version, worn by Nicole Kidman.) It was not unusual for the designer to make a special order for a client - but if it was a favourite piece - to make another for herself.
