This is a unique piece, made especially for the designer and did not appear in the 'Allegory of Love ' Spring-Summer 2014 collection, which also heavily featured golden hues as influenced by Gustav Klimt's paintings. L'Wren wore this gown to co-host the Serpentine Gallery Summer Party, 26 June 2013. She said of her design process, 'I really care about quality over quantity, so I have always focused on true luxury — that’s very important for me to maintain. I never really think about what I should be doing — I think about what is interesting to me – I think that’s the whole point of having your own business – so we always go to our own drum beat. If something is interesting to me, and it feels right, then I will do that.'
