Ms Scott wore this dress to the Costume Institute's Gala for “Schiaparelli And Prada: Impossible Conversations” on 7 May 2012 in New York.
In Scott’s vintage archive is a similar dress in black with large bows placed down the front. Scott saw the potential of the design and realised it would be more effective and elegant with the bows at the back. She produced a design that was at once recognisably vintage, but at the same time up to the minute – modern.
