Lot Essay

Tina Fey wore this gown to host the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards in January 2013. This dress was a one-off and did not appear in the main 'Yorkshire Pudding' Spring-Summer 2013 collection. Scott wrote that the collection was 'Inspired by David Hockney's exhibition at The Royal Academy of Arts. I was very taken by the black and white drawings of Yorkshire, which were then interpreted in boldly coloured large-scale landscapes. My canvas for the collection was to take it from graphic black & white into living color'.
