Amy Adams wore this gown to attend the 83rd Academy Awards and Vanity Fair Oscar After Party in West Hollywood, 27 February 2011. Scott described the inspiration for this collection 'as fashioned from the deep and mysterious language found in Gauguin's vivid portraits of French Polynesia. Through his bold and enriching colours, this collection was born'.
Vogue.com reported, '“Everyone talks about Fall/Winter, but all I can think is how I want to see colour and be happy,” Scott said before the showing.
