Julianna Margulies wore this gown to the 62nd Annual Emmy Awards in Los Angeles on 29 August 2010.

'There was nothing better than wearing a dress by L’Wren. I remember meeting her at her hotel to try this dress on, it was a one of a kind, truly a work of art, it’s hard to see in this picture, but the beading on the dress was a painting, so subtle, so exquisite. L’Wren made everything sparkle, not just in her designs but in her spirit, her being. I remember feeling so lucky to be wearing that dress. That was the only dress I tried on for the Emmy’s in 2010, I knew there was no point in looking further. It was perfection.
After our initial meeting, I called her often when I had to go to an event. The dress would arrive and I never had to look for something else, they always fit perfectly and were exactly right for every occasion, and wearing them always made me feel completely at home. She is dearly missed by all who knew her, I feel so fortunate to have been in her orbit.' - Julianna Margulies
