The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Sheet floats freely. Faintly mat-stained and light-stained, consistent with the work's age. Artist's tack-holes to the corners, center edges and two further within the composition. Flattened creases and three expertly-repaired short tears to the lower right corner. Small expertly-repaired tear to the center upper edge. A few faint handling creases and scuff marks. A few pinpoints of foxing in places. On the reverse: Japan paper to the aforementioned expertly repaired tears. The line is strong. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.
