The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Sheet floats freely. Light-stained, and staining along the upper edge. Artist's tack-holes to the four corners and lower center edge. A few faint flattened creases to the four corners and along the upper edge. Small nicks to the right lower edge. A few handling creases and scuff marks in places. Two minor areas of pilling to the right half of the composition, from the artist's working process. Faint scattered pinpoints of foxing. The line is strong. No tears or restorations detected. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.
