The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Sheet floats freely. Faintly mat-stained and light-stained, consistent with the work's age. Edges slightly deckled. Artist's tack-holes to the four corners, upper and lower center edges, and lower right edge. A few flattened creases to the corners. Two small expertly-repaired horizontal tears to the center left edge, as well as a few additional expertly-repaired short tears and nicks to lower left edge. Scattered faint handling creases and scuff marks. A few pinpoints of foxing in places.
Verso: Scattered scuff marks and a few studio stains, consistent with the artist's working method. Japan paper to the aforementioned expertly-repaired tears on the recto.
