The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvasses, stretchers and attachments are in generally good condition. All elements appear to be present. There are some pinpoint sized brown accretions in places. There are some craquelures to the upper right quadrant of the centre canvas. There are some soft blue abrasions to the centre canvas. There are a few faint handling marks in places. There is some minor rubbing to the extreme edges and corners in places. Examination under ultraviolet light shows no indication of inpainting. It is our opinion that the work is in good condition.
