The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The work is structurally sound. The work is not framed. There are few minor paint losses in places, most notably along the extreme edges and on the forehead. There are some hairline drying craquelures in places. Examination under ultraviolet light shows no indication of inpainting. It is our opinion that the work is in good condition.
