The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The canvas, stretcher and attachments are in generally good condition. There is some soft surface dust and dirt in places. Thereare some hairline drying craquelures in places, in keeping with the nature of the medium. There is a crack to the centre left vertical edge, with an associated paint loss which slightly tenting. There is a crack along the centre upper horizontal edge, which slightly tenting. There are few paint losses in places. Examination under ultraviolet light shows no indication of inpainting.
