The canvas has not been lined.
There is some surface dirt visible.
The varnish is yellowed.
In natural light no obvious damages or retouchings can be detected, except for a few small paintlosses and a small hole along the right side of the upper edge.
A faint vertical stretcher mark is visible.
The original impasto and pigments appear to be very nicely preserved.
Inspection under UV light reveals no apparent retouchings. Varnish lights up green making a more detailed reading difficult.
Overall the painting appears to be in good and authentic condition.
