The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
(i) The sheet is not framed. The sheet is hinged with paper tape in the reverse corners to the underlying mount. The sheet is unevenly yellowed, presumably due to previous framing. There is wear to the corners and extreme edges. There are some spots of foxing visible in places. There is staining in places. There is some discolouration in the upper right quadrant. The lower right corner is softly folded.
(ii) The sheet is not framed. The sheet appears to be laid down in places along the reverse edges to the underlying mount. The sheet is extremely unevenly yellowed, presumably due to previous framing. There is wear to the corners and extreme edges. There are some spots of foxing visible in places. There is staining in places. The upper left corner is folded.
(iii) The sheet is not framed. The sheet appears to be laid down in places along the reverse edges to the underlying mount. The sheet is extremely unevenly yellowed, presumably due to previous framing. There is wear to the corners and extreme edges. There are some spots of foxing visible in places. There is staining in places. The right edge of the sheet is deckled. There are torn pinholes in the upper centre en upper left corner.
