The panel is straight and is bevelled on all 4 edges.
The is some surface dirt visible.
The varnish has yellowed.
In natural light no obvious damages or retouchings can be detected, except for a very small paint loss which is situated just above the hairline.
The original impasto and pigments appear to be very nicely preserved.
Inspection under UV light reveals small scattered retouchings, e.g. in the chin of the girl and along the outer edges.
Overall the painting appears to be in good and authentic condition.
Varnish lights up green making a more detailed reading difficult.
