Condition report
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The work is structurally sound. The four ceramic elements are hung on a painted plywood backboard. There is some soft surface dust and dirt in places. There is some minor rubbing in places. There are craquelures in places. There are some signs of wear, with a few associated minor chip losses in places. The lower left corner of the lower left blue element is glued. It is our opinion that the work is in good condition.
