The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The work is structurally sound. The impasto is flattened in places. There is some surface dirt in places, with some associated discolouring, predominantly to the white passages. There is some minor wear to the extreme edges. Examination under ultraviolet light shows no indication of inpainting. It is our opinion that the work is in good condition.
