The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Painted on a single sheet of wood, bevelled on all sides. The panel is covered with canvas and paper on the reverse and slightly warped.
The paintlayer is covered with a thick layer of discoloured varnish.
In natural light no obvious damages nor retouchings can be seen.
Under UV light the varnish lights up unevenly and green making any reading impossible.
