The canvas, stretcher and attachments are in generally good condition. The canvas is slack to the stretcher. There are some pinpoint sized brown accretions in places. There is some rubbing in places. There are faint abrasions in places. There is a vertical inpainting of circa 5cm. in the upper centre, with some associated hairline craquelure. There is a second vertical inpainting of circa 5cm. in the orange passage in the centre. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals the aforementioned inpaintings. It is our opinion this work is in good condition.
