The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The canvas, stretcher and attachments are in generally good condition. There are few minor paint losses to the the belly of the pig. There is some minor rubbing to the extreme edges and corners. There is some soft surface dirt in places. When examined under ultraviolet light, fluoresces in a manner consistent with inpainting. It is our opinion that the work is in very good condition.
