The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The canvas, stretcher and attachments are in generally good condition. The canvas is slightly slack to the stretcher canvas with minor draws in the upper left corner. The canvas has not been lined and is in its original authentic state. There is minor surface dirt visible. The original impasto appears to be beautifully preserved. The pigments appear to be well preserved.
Examination under ultraviolet light shows no indication of inpainting. It is our opinion that the work is in very good condition.
