The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The panel is cradled. The varnish is slightly discoloured. There is some very minor craquelure in places. In natural light no obvious damages or retouchings can be detected. Examination under ultraviolet light shows a few minor cosmetic retouchings in places, e.g. in the lower left corner. The original impasto and pigments appear to be nicely preserved.
