50 x 38 x 4,5 cm).
English
The painting is on a stable copper plate. In natural light, two minor losses above Christ's head (each approx. 5 mm) can be seen, as well as a pinhead loss in the nail in Christ's feet. There is scattered retouching to the backgrounds, particularly along the edges of the copper. Some of the inscriptions on the titulus cruci have been enhanced. The perizonium has preserved some fine paint effects in its central part. The painting is under a fine, dry varnish. UV examination confirms the restorations in the backgrounds mentioned above (particularly around the head, torso and legs of Christ), as well some scattered retouching to Christ's body. In a carved giltwood frame with a floral motif (approx. 50 x 38 x 4.5 cm).
