There are some minor surface scratches and nicks consistent with age and handling.
As stated in the catalogue, the bronze is regilt. Some minor rubbed areas to the gilding.
There is some verdigris, especially to the drapery and the base.
Some visible seamlines and soldering, including to both Hebe’s arms, the head, 2 wings and tail of the eagle. The proper left wing with a construction seamline with some excess soldering visible: possibly a later repair.
Some original and construction circular plugged in holes which are not distracting.
Some very minor casting flaws, including to the feathers and the base. A small patch to the back of the proper left wing (possibly to hide a casting imperfection).
Rare cast and on a nice scale.
