Le tableau est exécuté sur un panneau biseauté le long des quatre bords. Il est renforcé par deux baguettes de bois verticales insérées sur toute la hauteur du panneau, et par deux taquets horizontaux apposés sur ces dernières, à la hauteur d'une fente horizontale restaurée. Celle-ci s'étend sur toute la largeur du panneau, à approx. 12 cm du bord inférieur.
A l'oeil nu, le tableau a préservé de jolis empâtements et effets de matière dans les blancs et les bleus.
On constate des restaurations associées à la fente susmentionnée.
L'examen à l'UV confirme les observations susmentionnées et révèle des res retouches supplémentaires dans les fonds (bord gauche et coin supérieur droit), dans le coin inférieur gauche, et ponctuellement dans le front du modèle. Sous un vernis non homogène.

The painting is executed on a panel that is bevelled along all four edges. It is reinforced by two vertical wooden strips inserted along the entire height of the panel, and by two horizontal cleats affixed to these strips at the height of a restored horizontal slit. This slit extends across the entire width of the panel, approximately 12 cm from the lower edge.
To the naked eye, the painting has preserved attractive impasto and textural effects in the white and blue tons.There are restorations associated with the aforementioned crack.
UV examination confirms the above observations and reveals additional retouching in the backgrounds (left edge and upper right corner), in the lower left corner, and occasionally on the model's forehead. Under an uneven varnish.
