The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There are inevitable surface scratches, nicks, and rubbed areas.
Some variations in the patina, with minor losses and areas of encrustation.
Dust is present in the crevices.
Some casting flows areas.
Some cracks to the fingers but they all look original.
Traces of rust are visible on the bronze base, including around the central hole.
Serpentine base: Chips to the edges and corners. A restored crack is visible.
