The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Le tableau est sur sa toile et son châssis d'origine. On constate deux petits manques de la taille d'une tête d'épingle dans le front et dans le fond à gauche du modèle. Le tableau possède des craquelures légèrement prononcées dans la partie inférieure droite.
A l'UV, on ne constate pas de restaurations récentes. Le tableau est sous un vernis uniforme, ancien, pouvant dissimuler d'anciennes restaurations.

The painting is on its original canvas and stretcher. Two small pinhead-sized losses are visible in the forehead and in the background to the left of the sitter. More pronounced craquelure can be seen in the lower right section.
Under UV, no recent restorations are visible. The painting is presented under a uniform, old varnish which may conceal earlier restorations.
