Elena Recco (c.1654-1715) was the daughter of Giuseppe Recco (1634-1695), one of the leading exponents of the Neapolitan school of still-life painting. He in turn had followed in the footsteps of his father, Giacomo Recco (1603-1653), and uncle, Giovan Battista Recco (1615-1660). Elena followed her father to Spain, where she worked at the court after his death.

Elena suivit son père en Espagne où elle travailla à la cour après la mort de son père.
