Le tableau a fait l'objet d'un rentoilage. Le support est stable.

Une fine craquelure est visible à la lumière naturelle. De légères marques de châssis sont visibles sur les bords de la composition. Le vernis est clair et la matière picturale stable.

L'examen à la lumière ultraviolette révèle des retouches visant à atténuer les marques de châssis et à combler la craquelure la plus proéminente dans le ciel au centre, à droite. L'architecture et le paysage semblent relativement bien conservés, à l'exception de quelques zones ayant été renforcées.

Le tableau semble être en bon état et peut être accroché dans ces conditions.

The canvas has been relined.

The varnish is clear and the paint stable on the support. A fine craquelure is visible in natural light. Light marks from the stretcher bar are visible along the edges of the composition.

Ultraviolet light reveals lines of retouching to reduce the appearance of the stretcher bar marks and to close the most prominent craquelure in the sky at center right. The architecture and landscape appear to be relatively well preserved, save a few touches of strengthening.

The painting appears to be in good condition and should be displayed in its current state.
