Le tableau est peint sur un panneau non parqueté composé d'une planche. Le support est stable.

A l'oeil nu, le tableau se présente dans un bel état général. On constate cependant une griffure dans le ciel à gauche, ainsi que le commencement d'un réseau de craquelures horizontales parallèles du à la légère courbure du panneau. On constate également des retouches ponctuelles dans le ciel et le paysage.

A l'UV, on constate les observations susmentionnées. Le tableau a fait l'objet d'un nettoyage récent, avec des traces ponctuelles de vieux vernis dans la végétation. Bon état général aux UV.

Dans un cadre en bois et stuc dorés, de style Empire (approx. 43 x 52 cm.).

The painting is executed on panel made up of a single board. The support is stable.

The painting presents very well in natural light. There is a small scratch in the sky at upper left. There is the beginning of a fine network of craquelure due to the slight bow of the panel. There is some minor scattered retouching in the sky and landscape. The paint remains stable.

Examination under UV light confirms the above. The painting has been cleaned recently, thugh some traces of the oldvarnish remain in the vegetation. Overall it is in good state.

In an Empire style giltwood and plaster frame (approx. 43 x 52 cm.).
