Le tableau est exécuté sur un panneau de bois fait d'une planche, non parqueté. Il est biseauté le long des quatre bords. L'ensemble est stable.
A l'oeil nu, le tableau se présente dans un bon état général : il a préservé de jolis détails dans les costumes des figures.
On constate des retouches le long des quatre bords, dans certains éléments des costumes, du mobilier et des carnations ainsi que dans les fonds, sans néanmoins gêner la lisibilité de l'oeuvre.
L'examen à l'UV confirme les observations susmentionnées et révèle des rehauts ponctuels dans le mobilier et les costumes.
La matière reste stable.

The painting is executed on panel made up of a single board. It is beveled to all four edges. The whole is stable.
The painting appears to be in good condition overall. In natural light the details of the costumes present very well. There is some retouching to the panel edges, and some scattered retouching in certain elements of the costumes, furniture and skin tones, and in the backgrounds, but these do not detract from the clarity of the work.
UV examination confirms the above observations and reveals some further strengthening in the furniture and costumes.
The paint remains stable.
