The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Wear to the gilding on high points; with some light bruising and pitting consistent with age and use.
One cup with possible restoration to the stem; the cover with solder repair to four tips of rim bosses; five solder repair to interstices of bosses; regilding; the finial lacking some flowers and with bent leaves on calyx.
The other with bruises to the domed centre on base; calyx lacking some leaves; lumberjack lacking his axe and with some bruising; dent to the bowl on one boss; bowl not completely circular; some bruising to the bosses of cover; the finial with slightly bent ; threading worn and finial not holding properly in place.
