The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Good overall condition. The surface has been cleaned.
There are the inevitable nicks, dents and surface scratches due to age and handling.
Some minor traces of rust to crevices and inside.
The pommel : the chasing on the upper part of the lion’s mane is worn down. The leaf between the front paws is loose.
