Cylindrique, le pied repoussé de motifs auriculaires repris sur le couvercle avec prise en rose sur terrasse feuillagée, le corps repoussé et ciselé d'une figure de Neptune, deux néréides, dont une chevauchant un dauphin et un chérubin chevauchant un hippocampe, l'anse en forme de caryatide grotesque et crête perlée, poinçons sur le fond: ville et maître-orfèvre; sur la gorge: poinçon de contrôle français postérieur (cygne)

On spreading base chased with auricular style motifs of scrolls and monsters, the cylindrical body embossed and chased with Neptune with a nereid riding a dolphin and two putti, one riding a seahorse, the handle cast as a grotesque term and applied with a beaded border, the domed cover chased with auricular rococo motifs and with flower finial, marked on underside with town and maker; on cover's flange: later French control mark (swan)
