Le panneau est peint sur un panneau d'une planche, non parqueté, biseauté.
A l'oeil, on constate des retouches ayant viré dans le ciel, dans retouches dans le rocher au centre. On constate un petit manque au centre.
A l'UV, on constate les retouches susmentionnées dans le ciel ainsi que dans le rocher. On constate des restaurations le long des bords, probablement dus au frottement du cadre. Les figures sont dans un joli état. Sous un vernis vert épais uniforme.
Dans un cadre de style hollandais (approx. 32 x 38 cm.).

The painting has been executed on a single-plank panel which is beveled and uncradled.
To the naked eye, some discolored retouching to the sky is noticeable, as well as retouching to the rock in the centre. A small loss in the centre is visible.
Ultraviolet examination reveals the afore mentioned retouching to the sky and the rock. Some restoration along the borders, probably resulting from frame abrasion, is visible. The figures present well. Under an even surface, thick, green layer of varnish.
