Le tableau a fait l’objet d’un rentoilage un peu sec qui a pu tasser par endroits la matière picturale.
A l’œil nu, on constate un réseau de craquelures un peu prononcé mais parfaitement stable.
A l’UV, on constate des restaurations dans le réseau de craquelures et dans les fonds. Certaines parties brunes ont été un peu renforcées. On constate une restauration dans la manche droite du personnage assis correspondant peut-être à une ancienne déchirure.

The painting has been quite firmly relined, which may have flattened the paint layer in some areas.
To the naked eye, a pattern of craquelures is noticeable but remains perfectly stable.
Ultraviolet examination reveals restoration to the pattern of craquelures and to the grounds. Some brown areas have been strengthened. A restoration can be seen in the right sleeve of the seated figure, which may correspond to an old tear.
