Le tableau est peint sur un panneau renforcé à deux endroits. Le panneau est légèrement convexe.

A l'oeil nu, on constate des restaurations le long des fentes horizontales renforcées. Les fentes créent des soulèvements. On constate des repeints le long de ces fentes ainsi que des repeints dans les parties brunes, notamment dans la croix de gauche, et dans le ciel.

A l'UV, on constate les restaurations le long des fentes. Les figures sont bien préservées. On constate des retouches ponctuelles dans le ciel. Sous un vernis vert uniforme.

Dans un cadre en bois sculpté de style XVIIe (approx. 61 x 75 cm.).

The painting has been executed on panel which is reinforced in two places. The panel is slightly convex.

To the naked eye, we can some restoration along the horizontal splits which have been reinforced, with associated lifting. We can also see some repainted areas along the splits and in the brown parts, notably around the cross on the left, and to the sky.

Ultraviolet examination reveals the afore mentioned restoration along the splits. The figures remain well preserved. Some scattered retouching is noticeable to the sky. Under an even surface layer of green varnish.

In a giltwood frame, 17th century style (approx. 61 x 75 cm.).
