Le tableau est sur un panneau parqueté stable.

A l'oeil nu, on constate des traces d'anciennes fentes et jointures de planches horizontales. On constate des restaurations le long des fissures. La matière est bien préservée, les couleurs sont vibrantes. Le tableau est sous un vernis épais et est légèrement encrassé.

A l'UV, on constate les restaurations le long des fissures précédemment mentionnées ainsi que quelques retouches ponctuelles dans la végétation à gauche. Sous un vernis épais uniforme.

Dans un cadre moderne à l'imitation de l'écaille (approx. 107 x 160 cm.).

The painting has been executed on a stable, cradled panel.

To the naked eye, we can see marks of old splits and joint along the horizontal planks. Some restoration is noticeable along the cracks. The paint layer remains well preserved, with nice colours. The painting is under a thick layer of varnish and carries a bit of dirt.

Ultraviolet examination reveals the afore mentioned restoration along the cracks and some scattered retouching to the vegetation on the left. Under a thick layer of varnish.

In a modern frame with faux tortoise shell (approx. 107 x 160 cm.).
