The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Le tableau est peint sur un panneau doublé par un panneau plus moderne. Le support est stable, légèrement convexe.

A l’œil nu, on constate des repeints dans les carnations. Le tableau a fait l’objet d’un nettoyage récent.

A l’UV, on constate des restaurations dans les carnations : autour des yeux, sur le cou, dans la cuisse droite entre autres, ainsi que des restaurations le long des fentes verticales du panneau. Sous un vernis vert uniforme.

Dans un cadre en bois et stuc doré (approx. 117 x 95 cm.).

The painting has been executed on a panel which has been transferred to a new panel. The support, which is slightly convex, remains stable.

To the naked eye, we can see some repainted areas in the flesh tones. The painting has been subject to a recent cleaning process.

Ultraviolet examination reveals restoration to the flesh tones: around the eyes, on the neck, on the right thigh, etc. and some restoration along the vertical splits of the panel. Under an even surface, green coat of varnish.

In a giltwood and golden stucco frame (approx. 117 x 95 cm.).
