119 x 148 cm.) - moisissures.
English
The painting has been subject to a slightly firm relining, which may have flattened the paint layer in some areas, especially in the vegetation. The painting is on a keyable stretcher which has been added on at a later stage.
The painting carries a bit of dirt: there are brown and yellow traces of dirt.
To the naked eye, we can see discoloured retouching to the sky. Some of the restorations to the brown leaves have also discoloured slightly.
Ultraviolet examination reveals the afore mentioned restorations to the sky. The architecture appears to be in fairly good condition under UV light. Old restorations can be seen in the vegetation on the left. Under a green varnish with traces of old varnish in the lower part and in the brown part on the left.
In a giltwood frame with painted motifs (approx. 119 x 148 cm.) - mould.
