The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Le tableau a fait l'objet d'un rentoilage ancien. Il a été agrandi sur la partie droite d'environ 8 cm.

A l'oeil nu, on constate des repeints ayant viré dans les fonds et sur le modèle. Le réseau de craquelures est un peu prononcé. On constate des légers soulèvements par endroits ayant pu causer des petits manques.

A l'UV, on constate des retouches dans les épis de blés ainsi que dans les fonds, la chevelure et certains éléments du costume (photos disponibles sur demande).

Dans un encadrement en bois à pilastres sculptés (approx. 96,5 x 132 cm.).

The painting has been subject to an ancient relining. It has been enlarged on the right side by about 8 cm.

To the naked eye, we can see some discoloured retouching to the bakground and the model. The pattern of craquelures is quite marked. Some light lifting, sometimes associated with small losses, is also noticeable in some areas.

Ultraviolet examination reveals retouching to the ears of wheat, the background, the model's hair and some costume elements (pictures available upon request).
