Le tableau est peint sur un panneau d'une planche, non parqueté, biseauté.

Une préparation un peu trop grasse a créé un réseau de craquelures un peu prononcé dans les fonds.

A l'oeil nu, on constate des petites restaurations dans les carnations ayant viré.

A l'UV, on constate des retouches ponctuelles dans les carnations ainsi qu'une retouche un peu plus débordante dans le bras droit de la figure allongée. Le fond sombre a également été retouché.

The painting has been executed on a single-plank panel which is uncradled. The panel is beveled.

A slightly too greasy preparation created a relatively pronounced network of cracks in the backgrounds.

To the naked eye, we can see small discoloured restoration to the flesh tones.

Ultraviolet examination reveals some scattered retouching to the flesh tones as well as a less extensive restored area in the right arm of the figure. The dark background has also been retouched.
