The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Notre tableau est peint sur un panneau préparé Malaine. Le panneau est stable et on y constate aucune fente.
A l'oeil nu, on constate des retouches le long des bords. Le tableau possède une jolie matière, de jolis glacis.
A l'UV, on constate de légères retouches ponctuelles dans les fonds et sur la colonne de gauche. Le tableau est sous un vernis vert, partiellement nettoyé : on constate des traces de vernis ancien sur les personnages. Bon état général aux UV.
Dans un cadre en bois et stuc doré, à décor d'acanthes (approx. 75 x 65 cm.).

Our painting is painted on a Malaine panel. The panel is stable and no cracks are noticeable.
To the naked eye, we can see some retouching along the edges. The painter layer and glazes remain appreciable.
Ultraviolet examination reveals some light, scattered retouching to the backgrounds and to the column on the left. The painting is under a green layer of varnish which has been partially cleaned: we can see some marks of old varnish in the figures. Good overall state under ultraviolet examination.
In a giltwood and golden stucco frame, with acanthus decoration elements (approx. 75 x 65 cm.).
