Le tableau apparaît dans un état de conservation satisfaisant.
Il a fait l'objet d'un rentoilage à la cire.
A l'oeil nu, on remarque un réseau de craquelures au centre un peu blanchi, au niveau du personnage à cheval. Il a fait l'objet d'un nettoyage il y a une cinquantaine d'années correctement réalisé.
A l'UV, on constate des restaurations dans les feuillages, dans les bêtes et au niveau du cavalier qui chasse.
Dans un cadre moderne (approx. 111 x 148 cm.).

The paintings is in a satisfying overall state of conservation.
It has been subject to a wax relining.
To the naked eye, a pattern of whitish craquelures is noticeable in the centre of the composition, at the level of the horse-riding figure. The painting has been subject to a cleaning, which has been thoroughly done around fifty years ago.
Ultraviolet examination reveals some restoration to the foliage, the animals and to the hunting rider.
In a modern frame (approx. 111 x 148 cm.).
