Le tableau a fait l'objet d'un entoilage un peu fort qui a pu passer la matière picturale.

A l'œil nu, on constate des repeints dans les fonds. Le noir a été un peu retouché par endroits.

A l'UV, on constate des retouches dans les fonds ainsi que des retouches récentes ponctuelles dans le drapé vert en bas à droite et le long d'une ligne en bas à gauche. Quelques retouches très ponctuelles dans les fruits sont aussi visibles. Les fruits sont en bon état général aux UV. Le tableau est sous un vernis vert uniforme, un peu ancien, qui pourrait être régénéré.

The painting has been subject to a firm relining which may have flattened the paint layer.

To the naked eye, we can see retouching to the grounds. The blacks have been retouched in some parts.

Ultraviolet examination reveals retouching to the grounds and recent scattered restoration to the green drapery lower right and along a line lower left. Some scattered restorations to the fruits are also noticeable. Good overall condition of the fruits under ultraviolet examination. The painting is under an even surface, green, old coat of varnish that could benefit from a restoration campaign.
