Notre tableau a fait l'objet d'un rentoilage et est doublé d'une toile à l'arrière. Il est sur un châssis à clés rapporté.

A l'oeil nu, le tableau est dans un bel état. On ne constate pas de repeints majeurs.

A l'UV, on constate des petites retouches ponctuelles dans le ciel et dans l'eau. Les architectures et les personnages sont bien préservés dans l'ensemble. Le tableau a fait l'objet d'un nettoyage partiel. On constate des traces de vieux vernis dans les parties brunes.

Dans un cadre en bois mouluré doré, travail moderne (approx. 103 x 142 cm.).

The painting has been subject to an old relining. A canvas has been added on at the reverse. The painting is on keyable stretcher which has been added on at a later stage.

To the naked eye, the painting is in an overall good state of conservation. We do not see noticeable restored areas.

Ultraviolet examination reveals scattered retouching to the sky and the water. The architecture elements and figures are overall well preserved. The painting has been partially cleaned. Old varnish marks can be seen in the brown parts.

In a modern giltwood molded frame (approx. 103 x 142 cm.).
