Le tableau se présente dans un bon état de conservation général.
Il est peint sur une plaque de cuivre non parquetée, stable. Elle est parfaitement droite.
A l'œil nu, le manteau bleu de la Vierge ainsi que le bleu du ciel sont oxydés. On constate de légers éclats restaurés dans le coin inférieur droit.
A l'UV, on constate des restaurations le long du bord supérieur et du bord inférieur. On constate des restaurations ponctuelles dans les visages de Jean, de la Vierge et du Christ. On constate des restaurations autour du linge en bas à droite de la composition ainsi que des restaurations éparses dans les fonds au centre. On constate les restaurations précédemment signalées dans le coin inférieur droit. Le tableau apparaît sous un vernis vert un peu sale partiellement nettoyé par endroits, notamment dans les parties brunes.
Dans un cadre mouluré en bois doré, travail moderne (approx. 57 x 46 cm.).

The painting is in a good overall condition
It is painted on an uncradled copper plate. It is perfectly straight.
To the naked eye, the blue mantle of the Virgin and the blue of the sky are a bit oxidised. Restored minor losses can be seen in the lower right corner.
Examination under UV light reveals scattered restoration along the upper and lower edge. There is scattered restoration in the faces of John, the Virgin and Christ. There are restorations around the linen in the lower right of the composition as well as scattered restorations in the background in the centre. The afore mentioned restorations in the lower right corner can be seen. The painting appears under a slightly dirty green varnish that has been partially cleaned in places, especially in the brown areas.
In a recent giltwood moulded frame (approx. 57 x 46 cm.).
