The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There are the inevitable surface scratches and minor chips due to age and handling. Two fingers missing to her proper right hand. The same hand had been refixed to the arm. Wear to the back and rubbed areas to the patina. The woman was previously glued on a base which is now missing (circular hole under the sculpture). Minor traces of glue to the underside with minor chips to the edges of the base. Very nice carving and expression.
