The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
One of them is attached along the margins to a 19th Century circular sheet of paper with minor foxing. Two other sheets are attached to a thin cardboard along the margins. The last one is fully laid down on the same thin cardboard.
The surface of each is slightly dirty but the colors remains fresh and strong.
On one of them, there are two tears in the dark area on the barrel, visible only to the racking light (approx. 2 cm and 1.5 cm).
Each drawing is in a round gilt wood frame with some chips. On the back of one of them, there is a biographical inscription about the artist.
